From corporate events to family functions; conferences, parties, school proms or weddings, our modern and flexible function rooms can accommodate social or business occasions for groups from three to more than 300. The Globe Arena has 10 function spaces and meeting rooms, from our impressive Wright & Lord Suite offering a contemporary flexible function space and our lavishly furnished Executive Boxes to the ground floor Globe Bar for more informal events. Wright & Lord Suite
The glass fronted Wright & Lord Suite, opening out onto a superb veranda offering views across the stadium to the sunsets of Morecambe Bay, is capable of hosting up to 250 guests for a sumptuous banqueting event and up to 400 for a theatre style presentation. This contemporary flexible space is perfect for a host of functions of varying sizes and natures, including weddings, charity balls, private parties, presentation evenings, large corporate conferences and sporting dinners. Situated on the first floor of the Peter McGuigan Stand, the Wright & Lord Suite boasts 2 bars, floor to ceiling windows and 371 square metres of space. This versatile suite can be divided into 3 sections to suit your needs.
Executive Boxes and Boardroom
In addition to the Boardroom and Chairman's Suite which host up to 30 guests, the club has 7 private executive boxes seating between 10 and 20 guests. Each room is lavishly furnished to a very high standard and all benefit from natural sunlight, Wi-Fi and television screens. Our executive boxes are particularly suited to hosting more intimate private parties and smaller meetings.
Situated on the ground floor of the Main Stand, adjacent to Main Reception, this extremely flexible space (licensed for up to 100 people) also has its own entrance and washroom facilities. As well as being the "fans bar" on match days it is currently open on Wednesday evenings, 7pm - 11pm for the pool and darts leagues.
Friday and Saturday nights the space is available to rent for private parties and 18th & 21st birthdays are very popular in this area. The Globe Bar can also been booked for smaller events, with everything from a mini - conference to a christening being easily accommodated.
