St Johnstone FC
One of the first purpose-built all-seated football stadiums in the United Kingdom, McDiarmid Park was at the forefront of a new way of thinking – designed to provide not just excellent viewing, catering and ancillary facilities for football spectators but also a range of rooms and suites which could be used seven days a week by businesses and the public alike for meetings, conferences and private celebrations.
The result was the creation of a first class facility of which St Johnstone Football Club and the City of Perth are rightly proud. The intervening years have seen the club build up a reputation as a top quality venue for business meetings, conferences, trade shows and a range of private social celebrations.
All our suites are decorated and fitted out to a high standard, we have a range of presentation equipment available for hire and our chef has built a deserved reputation for the quality food.
With nine rooms available for hire, from the spacious and versatile Centenary and Muirton Suites with theatre-style capacities of 100 through to the exclusivity of our 12-capacity exclusive Boardroom and Chairman's' Suites. We also have small breakout rooms, which are ideal for those meetings which require syndicate work.
Our in-house catering team ensures that the quality of food matches the quality of service and surroundings.

Directions
McDiarmid Park is ideally situated on the edge of the city of Perth, adjacent to the bypass. The A9, M90 and A85 all converge on the city giving approximate travel times of Glasgow (70 minutes), Edinburgh (50 minutes), Aberdeen (90 minutes) and Dundee (30 minutes). Clear ‘Football Stadium’ signage guides you easily to the stadium and its 1,000 free car park.
Perth Railway station is a 10 minute taxi journey from the stadium and the nearest major airport is Edinburgh. |
