The Sunderland Stadium of Light boasts some of the North-East’s finest conference and banqueting facilities, providing the perfect venue for any event.
The club is proud of the excellent reputation they have built up over the years with the magnificent conference and banqueting facilities and, whatever the occasion, your visit to the Stadium of Light will be truly memorable.
All the suites are purpose-built for comfort and convenience, most have outstanding views either across the River Wear or out over the pitch. Suites vary considerably in size. Smaller suites, or executive boxes as they are on matchdays, are ideal for small meetings of up to 25 guests, while the larger facilities such as the Banqueting Suite and the Black Cats Bar hold up to 600 and 950 guests respectively.
With a city centre location and on-site parking of over 1,100 free car parking spaces, the stadium is an ideal venue, conveniently placed for all major road and rail links.
The club also has a highly-experienced team who are available to help tailor packages to meet any individual requirements, and a wide selection of food and beverage options are available to suit any needs. Their professional and experienced team manages all events to ensure they run smoothly throughout.
Over recent years the club has developed their core conference and banqueting business of conferences, exhibitions, weddings, dinners and celebrations through a variety of mediums. A successful forthcoming events schedule also ensures that there are events available to suit all budgets and tastes, including Sunday lunches, themed party evenings, sporting dinners, gourmet evening’s as well as Christmas party nights, where many thousands enjoy the festive party atmosphere. Packages for the 2006 Christmas season are also now available.

Location details
The Sunderland Stadium of Light is situated on the banks of the River Wear, on the outskirts of Sunderland City Centre. Its location makes it easily accessible by all modes of public transport.
Directions
A19 from North and South. Take the A1231 (Sunderland North) turn off. After four roundabouts keep to the left hand lane and follow signs for B1289 (Roker). Continue on this road and you will see the Stadium on your right.
