Directions
From the M25
• Exit at Junction 19 or Junction 20
• Follow signs for Watford
• You will come to a large roundabout
• Take the A411 (HEMPSTEAD ROAD)
• You will come to a roundabout type traffic system where you need to stay in the right hand lane and continue in this lane to the next roundabout.
• Turn right, you need the third exit from the roundabout (RICKMANSWORTH ROAD)
• Follow signs for Watford General Hospital (located next to the stadium)
• Take the second road on the left – CASSIO ROAD
• Go straight on. This road will become MERTON ROAD.
• You will then come to a stop point with a pedestrian crossing in front of you.
• Get into the right hand lane, and follow the one way system round.
• At the next stop point, get into the left hand lane.
• At the next pedestrian crossing, you need to take VICARAGE ROAD, which is the road on the left of the traffic island.
• You will see the RED LION PUB on the right hand side and a garage on the left. Please take the small road on the left, OCCUPATION ROAD.
• Go down Occupation Road as far as the metal gates. The car park is on the right.
From the M1
• Exit at Junction 5.
• Take the A4008 (STEPHENSON WAY) towards Watford Town Centre.
• Go straight on at the first roundabout.
• At the next roundabout (just after the railway arches), turn right towards the Harlequin shopping centre.
• Get into the left hand lane.
• At the traffic lights turn left on to the ring road. Follow signs for Watford General Hospital (located next to the ground).
• Go straight on at the next two sets of traffic lights. The road will start to bend round to the right.
• After the next set of traffic lights take the next left (VICARAGE ROAD).
• At the end of this road you need to get into the one way system which will take you around the parade of shops in front of you. Vicarage Road continues on the other side of this parade.
• Follow the one way system round.
• At the next stop point, get into the left hand lane.
• At the next pedestrian crossing, you need to take VICARAGE ROAD, which is the road on the left of the traffic island.
